Vegan onion rings baked in the oven are a great snack movie night.

Recipe
Ingredients (for 4 persons): ▫️4 larger onions ▫️60 g of breadcrumbs
▫️4 tbsp of cornstarch
▫️100 ml of plant-based milk
▫️️1 tsp of garlic powder ▫️️1 tsp of onion powder
▫️1️ tsp of salt ▫️1,5 tsp of powdered paprika
▫️0,5 tsp of cayenne pepper
▫️0,5 tsp of oregano
▫️ 3 tbsp of olive oil
Method:
👉🏼Preheat the oven to 180℃ (350℉). 👉🏼Cut the onions into 1 cm thick rings and separate their layers. 👉🏼Mix together breadcrumbs, garlic, onion and paprika powder, cayenne pepper, salt, oregano and oil in one bowl. Mix well with a spoon. 👉🏼Put the cornstarch on the plate and pour the plant-based milk into a new bowl. 👉🏼Flour each ring in starch (all the sides must be well covered), then drop it in the milk and finally into the breadcrumbs. 👉🏼Place the rings on a baking paper and bake them in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Take them out of the oven when they're golden brown. 👉🏼Serve with sauces. I made guacamole and coconut cream sauce. 👉🏼You can also bake chickpeas (Mix 2 cans of chickpeas with 5 tbsp of olive oil, 2 tsp of garlic powder, 2 tsp of onion powder and 2 tsp of powdered paprika, 1 tsp of oregano, 1 tsp of salt and a pinch of pepper. Mix well, spread them on baking paper and bake for 20 minutes at 190℃ (370℉).)
