VEGAN TARTAR SPREAD

Delicious and easy vegan tartar spread made of soy chunks and cereal, leek, walnuts, mustard, and spices. You can make it for a party or have something to spread on a slice of bread.

Recipe

preparation time: 15 minutes


Ingredients:

- 100g (1 cup) of soy chunks

- 100g (1 cup) of soy cereal

- 300ml (1 ¼ cups) of plant-based milk

- 80g of leek

- 100g (1 cup) of grounded walnuts or almonds

- 3 tbsp of coconut sour cream

- 2 tsp of chili oil or one pickled hot pepper

- 1 tbsp of mustard

- 50ml (1/5 cup) of oil

- 1 tsp of salt

- pinch of pepper

- 2 tsp of powdered paprika

- 0,5 tsp of chili flakes


Method:

1. In a saucepan bring to a boil soy chunks, soy cereal, and plant-based milk. Keep stirring and when it starts to boil, turn off the heat and wait for it to cool down.


2. First, roughly blend together chunks and cereal with grounded walnuts or almonds. Blend for 30 seconds.


3. Add oil, leek, salt, pepper, chili flakes, powdered paprika, mustard, coconut sour cream, and chili oil or pickled hot pepper.


4. Blend for a few minutes, use a blender stick or spatula to blend thoroughly.


5. Save in a container in the fridge. Use in the next 4 days.
