PATTIES WITH LENTILS AND BEANS

These patties are full of protein and very easy to make.


Recipe

Ingredients (for 4 people): ▫️1 can of red kidney beans ▫️250 g of cooked red lentils ▫️3 chopped onions ▫️handful of chopped parsley

▫️handful of chopped chives

▫️chia egg: 1 tbsp chia seeds + 3 tbsp water

▫️50 g of breadcrumbs ▫️2 tbsp of nutritional yeast ▫️1,5 tsp of salt ▫️0,5 tsp of pepper

▫️1 tsp of powdered paprika

▫️1 tsp of onion powder

▫️1 tsp of garlic powder

▫️0,25 tsp of cumin

Method: 👉🏼Cook the lentils and preheat the oven to 180℃ (350℉). 👉🏼In a larger bowl, mash the kidney beans, add the cooked lentils, chopped onion, parsley, chives, chia egg, breadcrumbs, and spices. If necessary, add salt. 👉🏼With the help of extra breadcrumbs, form smaller semi-hems, about 1 cm thick, and stack them on a baking paper on baking tray.

👉🏼Put the tray in the oven and bake for 25 minutes. After 15 minutes, take the tray out of the oven and flip the patties. 👉🏼Serve with rice or potatoes. You can also make tahini sauce.
