Chromium is an essential element, involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats, as it affects the secretion of insulin. It is especially important in diabetics.


Sources of chromium are Brazil nuts, dark chocolate, tomatoes, broccoli, hazelnuts, spinach, peanuts, lentils, fresh yeast, peas ...


Recommended daily intake (RDI) is 40 µg/day for a grown-up person.
